Loving Tribute to the Life of
Jetone Elaine Wheeler
Ms. Jetone E. Wheeler passed away unexpectedly on November 11, 2023, at her home in Nashville, TN. She was born on August 23, 1958, to the late Donna Thomas and Eddie Wheeler in Chicago, IL where she received her early education in the public school system. She accepted Christ at an early age and attended Ray of Hope Community Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents, Charles Torran and Gonzell Torran Bolden, Curtis, and Mary Wheeler; sister, Joy Martin; uncle and aunt, Fred and Eunice Wheeler.
Upon graduation from Maplewood High School, she attended and received her BS degree from Tennessee State University in social work in 2006. She was currently employed by Pinnacle Dermatology.
Jetone leaves to cherish her memory and love: step-father, Jackie Thomas, two sons, Donnell Wheeler and Albert Counts, Jr.; four brothers, Warren (Wilbrena) Thomas, Keith (Crystal) Wheeler, Ronald Thomas, and Joseph (Ann) Thomas; two sisters, Marian Smith, Dezoral (Sterling) Jenkins; devoted cousins, the Durr’s: Brenda, Gregory, Michael and Herald Chip Johnson; five devoted grandchildren: Dominique Rollins, Jarvarius Battle, Aaliyah Counts, My’Asia Mason and Londyn Counts; two great-grandchildren: Sky and Deuce; Devoted Sisters in Love and Life: Sandy Larkin, Mildred Simpson, Anita Stewart, Cheryl Ladd, CoTina Hancock, and Rose King; special nieces: Warenae’ Taniya Thomas, Channing Wheeler, Shuntrell King, Kendra Butler, ReShonda Larkin, Nicole King, and Pinky King; a special nephew: Chad Wheeler; special friend: Eddie Cooper.
