
Obituary of Bridgette R. Jordan
Heaven sent Bridgette Jordan into this life August 24, 1964 and she transitioned from this life September 11, 2023.
Bridgette received her diploma from Cohn High in 2004. She went on to receive her degree in Criminal Justice in 2007. In 2017, she retired from the G-45 Juvenile Detention Center.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Stella Word, father Charlie Word, sisters Marilyn and Kristina; brother Tony and four nephews Laveldo, Jerry and Antonio.
She leaves to cherish her memory, children Torris Word, Ciera (Marvin) Perry, and Courtney Jordan; seven grandchildren: Nykelan, Jamarion, Kourtney, Destine, Toriana, MarviOna and Courtney; sister Era (Tony) Carothers; stepsisters Regina, Carman and Tiffany; numerous aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
