When our family relocated to Nashville where my husband Dr. Charles Fancher was offered a position and me a job in the TSU Library - Earline was the first person that I met and she "decided that she would take charge of me." She and I became great friends.
We enjoyed sewing and of course Librarianship. We attended local and national meetings together. She and Bob taught Charles and me the game of Bridge. To do this they came to our home on Sunday nights because Adrienne was a baby. We built our new homes at the same time with one house between us, but close enough for her to still "see what I was doing." It was only natural that she and Robert were chosen to be Adrienne's Godparents. We were also Sorority sisters which provided us another opportunity to do things together. I will always remember her fondly.
