

Obituary of Geneva Jackson-Boston
Geneva Jackson-Boston, affectionately known as Tweekie was born the eldest child of five children to Ozia Jackson and Elizabeth Chunn-Jackson on Februray 21, 1941 in Newnan, GA. Tweekie departed this life July 13, 2023 after a long battle with dementia.
She was Baptized at an early age where she attended New Monumental Baptist Church, Chattanooga, TN prior to relocating to Nashville, TN.
Tweekie graduated from Howard High School, Chattanooga, TN in 1960. She later attended Tennessee State University in Nashville, TN where she met the famed Olympic Gold medalist Ralph Boston. After a period of dating they were married and to that union was born a son, Kenneth Todd Boston. Prior to this union she had a previous marriage and had a son, Stephen Keith Spencer. Ralph accepted Stephen as his son and bestowed his last name to Stephen.
Tweekie became a long time resident of Nashville where she became a faithful member of 15th Avenue Baptist Church. She was employed the by National Urban League and Meharry Medical Center for many years. She enjoyed various genres of music and was a master at playing bid whist card game. Her loud laughter and trash talking will be remembered by all. As the oldest of five children, she took on adult responsibilities in the care of her younger siblings.
Tweekie always put family first. When her mom became elderly, she relocated to Milwaukee, WI to become her fulltime caregiver. She provided excellent care to her for many years until her death in 2011.
She will be remembered for her cooking, kindness, generosity, infectious smile and her willingness to always lend a helping hand.
She was preceded in death by father, Ozia Jackson, mother, Elizabeth Jackson, brother Olin Jackson and granddaughter, Marissa Nicole Boston.
She leaves to cherish her memory her sons; Stephen Keith Boston (Jacquelyn), Kenneth Todd Boston, sister Jacqueline Horne, brothers, Eugene Jackson and Leon Jackson; grandsons, Malcolm X Boston (Arielle), Martin L Boston (Krystal); granddaughter, Dominique Alsup (Wardell) and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The service will be live streamed on FaceBook @ Lewis-WrightFD for family and friends unable to attend the service.
