Mrs. Dorothy Jean Miller was born to the union of Robert Lee and Rosie Mae Simmons on December 19, 1948, in Watertown, TN.

Dorothy put her faith in Christ at a very young age and attended Columbia Avenue Church of Christ in Centerville, TN. She was member of Buena Vista Church of Christ in Nashville, TN at the time of her passing.

Later in life, Dorothy united in Holy Matrimony with Jerry L. Miller. She remained faithful and devoted to her husband and her family until her transition. She enjoyed people, spending time with her family and she loved attending church every Sunday.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings.

Dorothy transitioned from this life on Friday, June 30, 2023. She is survived by her husband, Jerry L. Miller; sons George R. Claybrooks, David L. (Melanie) Claybrooks and Rondal R. Threalkill, Jr.; grandchildren, Amara J. Claybrooks, Rayana J. Claybrooks, Joshua Love and Bella Love; sister Carrie Mae Bradley and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
