Obituary of Dwynel M. Warden
Dwynel Marcel Warden was born on December 29, 1954, in Chicago, Illinois to the Late Dorthy Tillman and Marcel Warden. God decided he needed him too and on June 7, 2023, he graced heaven with his one of a kind superman swag!
Dwynel accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age. Continuing to walk with Christ throughout his life, in his later years Dwynel joined Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Tullahoma under the leadership of Elmore Torbert Jr. Dwynel received his education in the school system of Chicago, Illinois and later graduated from Anthem Career College. Dwynel also served in the military in his tender years. Dwynel was currently employed at Vanderbilt Hospital-Tullahoma and was excited to retire this year.
In addition to his parents, Dwynel was preceded in death by long time special friends Cynthia Peterson and Ozzie Boyd as well as his grandmother Lena Rhodes who was extremely special to him.
Dwynel leaves to cherish his precious memories to his Fiancée Sheliya Israel who in his words was his “Happiness”; his loving son Marquis (Michelle) Warden, devoted Daughters; Kesha (Derrick) Warden-Fisher, Shakita (Terry) Peterson, Dornetta Peterson, his baby girl Na’ziya Warden (Jazzy) and his stepchildren who he loved and raised as if they were his own. He also leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved siblings Muntel Anderson, Sherrel Tillman and Dorrell Tillman. His aunt Leona Jones, all of his grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of other family members and friends.
Dwynel was charismatic fun and charming, never meeting a stranger. He was ALWAYS the life of any party. He was the voice, the reason, and the season. Super Man he was!
