Kennedi Ellana Jewell Covington was born in Nashville, Tennessee on January 3, 2005 to Lord Stanford Covington and Kathryn Ligon Covington. She graced the world with her beautiful presence until June 17, 2022 when the Lord whispered sweetly in her ear and called her home.

Kennedi was a bright, passionate, and loving young lady. She was a student at Hunters Lane Comprehensive High School, where she was an active member of the student body, participating as a member of the HLHS band and the JROTC program. She was preparing to spend her Summer interning in Atlanta and preparing for her Senior year of high school. Upon graduation, her dream was to join the military and become a veterinarian.

She accepted Christ at an early age at Lee Chapel AME Church, under the leadership of Rev. Edward L. Thompson. She was a member of the Y.P.D, Usher Board #2, and the Children and Youth Choir. She attended Sunday School regularly and participated in the Youth Bible Study Group.
