My condolences to the family. I remember Mike inviting a group of us Fiskites who were unable to go home to his house for Thanksgiving dinner. I remember three things. How large in stature Mr. Ridley was, what an amazing cook Mrs. Ridley was, and how I fell in love with "Jessie James" that day! May God give the family peace. Rest well, Mrs. Ridley! Dear Ridley Family,
I’m so sorry to hear of your loss of your mother and grandmother. I met Michael “Mike” Ridley in the early 80’s when we were students at Fisk University. There, I attended worship services with Mr. and Mrs. Ridley and the Ridley Family where Mr. Ridley preached God’s word. I thank them for all the warmth shown to me. I was far from home and needed God to make it through it all. I thank God for you.
