Mary Jane Terry "Janie" was the fourth child born to Hubert & Elizabeth Holbert. She was born on February 21, 1948 in Shelbyville, TN. She transitioned from this life on Monday, May 24, 2021.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory: Her amazing son Eric Holbert, and stepson Brandon Sanders. Loving sibilings, Larry "Gerri" Holbert, and Linda Tillman. Devoted granddaughter ShaQuaniah "Reshad" Harris, and grandson Jared Shannon. Devoted daughter Sandra Scruggs. Sister-in-laws, Letha and Anita Holbert. Great-Grandkids Iyana, Zion, and Jared Jr. aka "Sumoo." Nieces & Newphews, Angie Holbert, Tracy "James" Sweat, Erika Holman, Beverly Verge, Randy "Demetria" Tillman, Derrick Holbert and Jared "Stephanie" Holbert. Devoted Friends, Dorothy & Sissy Rucker, Mary Piggs, Mary Holt, Reece Leftwich, Laura Rolston, and Debra Shelton. Along with numerous cousins, and other close friends.

Public Walk Through will be held Friday, May 28, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Lewis and Wright Funeral Directors.
Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Greater St. John Missionary Baptist Church, with visitation held from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
