Obituary of Napoleon Glass

Napoleon Glass was born on July 13, 1942 in Grand Junction, TN to Sevokel Glass and Vera Matthews. He departed this earthly life on Saturday, August 24, 2019.

Napoleon received his formal education through the Metro Nashville Davidson County School system, receiving his diploma from Cameron High School. He went on to further his education at Santa Ana Junior College. Napoleon was employed by California Southern Edison for several years in Santa Ana, CA.

Napoleon was preceded in death by his parents, Sevokel Glass and Vera Wheeler-Matthews and sister, Evelyn Glass.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories son, Napoleon Edmond and Charsina Imara both of Oakland, CA; granddaughter, Kori Edmondson of Oakland, CA; grandson, Amare Edmondson of Oakland, CA; great granddaughter, Kaliah Wallace of Clarksville, TN; great grandsons, Makani Hairston of Oakland, CA., and Isaiah Wallace of Clarksville, TN; brothers, Clarence (Phyllis) Matthews of Mt. Juliet, TN., Sevokel Glass, Jr of Oakland, CA., Andrew Calloway and George Matthews; sisters, Vera Matthews, Matile Glass of Modesto, CA., and Glenda Matthews; nieces and nephews, Quineka Westbrook, J’aune Johnson, Dawn Glass, Lakeitha Stewart, Marquis Johnson, LaPorsche Thomas, Lolitha Williams, LaCresha Wil- liams, Pamela Moore, Courtney Calloway, Tanya Welch, Sharell Smith, LaShawnda Hardy, Rodney Matthews, Brian Matthews, Ronald Smith, Shawn Welch and Willie Fisher; loving and dedicated companion, Gwendolyn C. Wallace; and a host of other relatives and friends.
