Tucker Wills

Tucker T. Wills was born January 10, 1931 in Piney River, Virginia in Amherst County to Tralve Wills and Annie (Sparrow) Wills. Tucker was educated in the Amherst County school system.

He was honorably discharged from the U. S. Army after serving proudly in the Korean War. Tucker moved to Washington, D.C. and went to work at the U. S. Soldiers' and Airmens' Home in Washington, D.C. He retired after 38 years and 2 months of loyal service.

Tucker was joined in matrimony to his longtime companion, Lottie M. (Toomer) Wills. Tucker and his wife, Lottie, moved to Nashville, TN and became faithful members of Community Missionary Baptist Church (CBC) under founding Pastor Charles H. Dixon. Tucker was appointed as a trustee for CBC and remained in that capacity under presiding Pastor Vincent C. Johnson.

Tucker was proceeded in death by mother, Annie Wills, father, Tralve Wills, sisters, Alyce Spearman and Janet Teague; brothers Arthur Jenkins, Walter Jenkins and Teakery Jenkins.
