She was preceded in death by her only brother, Rossie Sherrell, Jr. Roslyn was educated in the Davidson County School system, graduating from Cameron High School in 1969. She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Tennessee State University where you could find her at every home football game cheering the Big Blue Tigers! At Vine Glenn, Roz served in the choir and was a regular student in Sunday school. She moved her membership to the Gordon Memorial United Methodist Church, under the pastorate of the late Reverend Clarence Smith where she was a member of the United Methodist Women’s group, Discipleship Bible Study, and the Greeter’s Ministry.
