Margurite Jewel Lindsay Moore departed this life on October 4, 2022 at the age of 78. Margurite was born on May 28, 1944 in Nashville, TN to the late Nonie Mae and Henry Louis Lindsay Sr. She was preceded in death by her brother, Henry (Sonny) Eugene Louis Lindsay Jr. She attended Davidson County Public Schools, graduating from Pearl High School in 1961. She attended Tennessee A& I State University, now Tennessee State University. Margurite was saved at an early age and was baptized at the Saint Andrews Presbyterian Church. At Saint Andrews, Margurite served as a minister She accepted her calling to the Ministry in 1978 and was ordained in 1999 under the late Reverend Thomas Moore at Tabernacle of Praise Church. She moved her membership to Faith is the Victory Church, under Pastor Charles Cowan where she faithful participant in the Greeter’s and Prayer Warrior Ministries. Margurite Jewel married Aubrey Lee Moore in October 20, 1992 at the Faith is the Victory Church. She was employed at the Veteran’s Administration for more than twenty-five years and retired in June 1999. She was the proud owner of Personal Touch Cleaning Services for many years. Margurite enjoyed football, entertaining friends and family, travel, and time with her Lord and Savior. She was known for her bright smile, laughter, wits, and love for Pepsi’s. Her bright energy would fill a room and her laugh will forever be a cherished memory. Margurite was compassionate, a listening ear, and strong women of faith. She leaves to cherish her memory, Husband, Aubrey Moore; Children, Sherri Grant, Robert Grant III, Sean Smith, Richard Majors II; Grandchildren, Eric Grant, DeShun Taylor, Jamica Broderick, Kerry Grant, and Cameron Grant; Stepchildren, Kathy Moore, Milton (Mary) Moore, Pamela Calloway; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, relatives. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be no more pain: for the former things are passed away Revelation 21:4 Please keep the Moore family in your thoughts and prayers.
