December 29, 1932 — November 7, 2024

Nashville

Madelon Frances Wynn Donalson entered into sweet peaceful rest, on November 7, 2024. She was the twelfth of twelve children born to Pleasant and Lucinda Wynn, who preceded her in death. Madelon accepted Christ at an early age at Saint James Baptist Church, Cedar Hill, TN., and later united with the First Baptist Church East Nashville, where she was a faithful member. She loved her church members, loved to ride the church bus, and loved the youth. Madelon was a graduate of Pearl High School, Class of 1952, and was a faithful member of the Alumni Association. She also attended Tennessee A & I State University. Her hobbies included cooking, baking, making ice cream, listening to music and singing along, traveling, reading, games, and she made the best iced tea in town, and boy did she love to laugh. She loved to entertain and spend time with family and friends. She retired from the AME Sunday School Publishing Board and worked at a Daycare for a few years after her retirement. She loved those children and talked about them daily. She is preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Donalson; siblings, Alma, Willie Bea, Mary, Agnes, Sallie, Foster, Edgar, James Wesley, Jewel (Pete), Emmett, Sr., and Pleasant, Jr., niece/daughter, Pheneshia Wynn (Moses) Carter (Toodie).
