Kim Lerae Rhode entered this world on October 19, 1968 in Chicago, Illinois. She was the only child of Willa A. Rhodes. God called her home early Friday morning September 22. 2023. Kim was the loving parent of Cameron Rhodes, Jared Rhodes, and Mitchell Morris.
As a parent, Kim's legacy was one of unwavering supportiveness, flexibility, encouragement, and being a remarkable role model to her children. Her dedication to guiding her children through life's challenges will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing her.
Kim possessed an array of admirable qualities that made her truly exceptional. She was known for her compassionate nature which touched the lives of many. Her creative spirit allowed her to bring joy and beauty into the world around her. Kim's self-motivation and strong work ethic were evident in everything she pursued. Kim loved new adventures and was confident in her ability to meet new challenges.
After graduating from White Creek High School in Nashville in 1986, Kim continued her education at Volunteer State where she majored in Finance. Her academic achievements were a testament to her dedication and commitment to personal growth. Kim
Professionally, Kim worked as an Accountant in Finance. Her expertise and attention to detail made her highly regarded within her field. Kim's contributions made a lasting impact on those they worked with throughout their career.
It was here that Kim was baptized as an infant and found solace and strength through her spiritual journey. Faith played an essential role in Kim's life. She grew up in Lee Chapel AME Church and was very active in the church during that time.
To honor and remember Kim Lerae Rhodes, a public Visitation will be held at Lee Chapel AME Church in Nashville on September 30, 2023, at 11:00 am. Following the visitation, a public Celebration of Life will commence at Lee Chapel AME Church at 12:00 pm.
Kim's memory will forever be celebrated by her son, Cameron A. Rhodes, Jared R. Rhodes and Mitchell Morris; mother, Willia A. Rhodes; aunts, Janet Naomi Williams, Brenda (Troy) Merritt; uncle, E. Frankklin Rhodes; cousins, Yolanda Rhodes, E. Franklin Rhodes, Jr., Patrick J. Rhodes, Jesse Williams Jr. Kevin Williams, Deanna (Daniel) Ross, Troy R (Ashley) , Justin Merritt. Life long friends Pamela White, Kareta Thomas and Vonda Armour. Kim left behind cherished memories and touched countless lives throughout her time with us. Her kind heart, dedication, and unwavering spirit will forever be remembered by those who were fortunate enough to have known her. May she rest in eternal peace.
