Kenneth M. McKay, Retired Principal, Metropolitan Nashville Public School System
Mr. McKay departed his earthly home on Sunday, August 20, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.
Mr. McKay is survived by his loving wife, Hattie Law, McKay: their daughter and son-in-law Michelle and Stanley Manning and granddaughter Sydney Manning.
He is further survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and dear friends. A private gathering is designated for family on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Lewis and Wright Funeral Directors from 4 to 6 P.M. A public visitation will be held Sunday, August 27, 2017 between 4:00 and 5:30 P.M. at Pleasant Green Missionary Baptist Church, 1410 Jefferson St. The Alpha Phi Alpha Omega Services will begin at 5:30 P.M. Mr. McKay's service in celebration of his life will commence immediately following at 6 P.M. Interment will occur on Monday, August 28, 2017 at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, Pegram, TN.
