JULIA PEARL PILLOW TUCKER
Beloved mother, grandmother, aunt and friend to many departed this life on Monday, February 6, 2017 surrounded by her devoted sons and family by her side. Julia was preceded in death by her husband, James Henry Tucker in 1981.
Survived by sons Michael, Dwayne (Carmen), and David (Angel) Tucker. Grandchildren, Brandy and Dwayne John, Brentwood, TN. Loving sisters-in-law, Anne Pillow, Jane Pillow, Anita Pillow, Mamie Farmer and Ruby Wilson. Devoted family members, Beverly McDonald, Deborah Pillow Searcy, Frank Pillow, Andrea Pillow, Jewel Pillow Walker and Josephine Crouch. Many dear and faithful friends. Public viewing on Friday, February 10, 2017 at Lee Chapel AME Church, 1200 D.B.Todd Blvd., from 4 p.m. until 6:45 p.m.
Family will be present from 6-7 p.m. Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Service will be at 6:45 p.m.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Lake Providence Baptist Church, 5891 Nolensville Pike, Nashville, TN. Visitation from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Funeral service immediately following. Reverend Harold Love, Jr., Officiant.
