James Edward Martin (Short-Dog) of Nashville – passed away Saturday May 23, 2020 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. A public viewing will be held Saturday, May 30, 2020 at 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon at Greater St John Missionary Baptist Church at 2200 26th Ave North.
He was born in Nashville, TN to James Frierson and Clydine Martin Battle, who preceded him in death. Also preceded in death were his children, Sean L. (Zikkyyah) Holmes Sr, Arkie Edward Bryant, and Tia Corley; Grand-son: Sean L. (Baby Sean) Holmes Jr. He is survived by children Audrelle D. (Shan) Brown, Michael L. (Tawanna) Woods, Torrey L. Glenn and Demarco D. Moore. He has 4 other surviving brothers and 3 surviving sisters. Please keep the Martin and Battle families in your thoughts and prayers.
