Mr. James Oliver Ford transitioned Friday, May 3, 2024. Jim is survived by his loving wife of over 33 years, Lauranette Sweeney Ford, Son, James Eric (Toni) Ford, Louisville, KY, Daughter, Shonna Ford, Florence, AL, Granddaughter, Gabrielle A. Ford, St. Augustine, FL. In-Loves, Ulysses (Laura) Sweeney, III, Brothers-in-Love: Ulysses (Anita) Sweeney, IV, Clarence Sweeney, and Craig (Marla) Sweeney. Additionally, he will be sadly missed by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be on May 14, 2024, from 11:00 am to Noon at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 7594 Old Hickory Blvd., Whites Creek, TN. A Celebration of Life will follow at Noon. Burial will be at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Lane, Nashville, TN.
