Survived by wife, Fannie Pearl Carlisle; son, James Lou (Chrystal) Carlisle, Jr.; daughters, Candace Jean Carlisle and Christina Michelle Carlisle; granddaughters, Cassidy and Carys Carlisle; brother, Charles H. (Minnie) Carlisle, Jr.; sisters, JoAnn Grant and Sylvia D. Carlisle.
Visitation with the family will be Thursday, December 18, 2014 from 2:30 - 3:15 p.m., with Memorial service to follow at Cheekwood Botanical Gardens and Museum of Art - Massey Hall, 1200 Forrest Park Dr.
