JD Fowler, 69 of Nashville, TN passed away peacefully on July 26, 2024. Born on July 9, 1955 in Moorhead, MS to the parents of JC and Marie Fowler. JD was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He graduated from Gentry High School and went on to serve in the United States Army where he was an Air Traffic Controller. During this time is where he met his beloved wife, Rose Marie Fowler as she was in the United States Air Force. After completing his time in the military, he married and moved to Nashville, TN where he called home.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Marie Fowler; their children, Victoria Fowler (Jed) and Joshua D. (Tiwana) Fowler; his three grandchildren, Elijah Fowler, Akiyah Fowler and Jason Hanserd; and his brothers and sisters, Otha Lee (Gwen) Fowler, Leotha (Betty) Fowler, Nathanial (Jacquelin) Fowler, Betty (Odell) Beaman, Dorothy(Dexter) Pernell, Bobbie Jones and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, JC and Marie Fowler, his sisters Rosie Nelson, Odessa Allen and Idella Triplett.
