Inez V. Turner
November 7, 2014. Inez Turner was born on February 13, 1930, in Robeline, Louisiana, to the union of Cora and Edward Calhoun. She was reared in Natchitoches, Louisiana and eventually moved to Long Beach, California. She later relocated to Nashville, Tennessee to reside with her daughter. She leaves to cherish her memories sons, Jeffrey (Geniverteria) Turner and Vaughn (Bernadette) Turner; daughter, Vidette (Charles) Putman; sister, Gladys (Rev. Tucker) Hunter; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and “special" daughters, Patricia Bennett, Marilyn Maples, and Linda Joseph. Public viewing Friday, November 14, 2014 from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. Family visitation Saturday, November 15, 2014 from 12:00 Noon – 1:00 p.m. with funeral to follow at Greater Christ Temple, 2400 10th Ave. S. Bishop Sherman Merritt, Pastor.
Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at 10:00 a.m., Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.
