Felecia Ford - Ervin

Felecia Blackmon was born on November 21, 1959 in Shreveport, Louisiana to loving parents, Alma Jean Boykin and Edward Roy Blackmon.

From a very young age she experienced health challenges, but that did not stop Felecia from being "cool" as one of her former high school classmates described her.

Since she was a lower class Junior, and he was an upper class Senior...she truly must have been cool indeed.

She proudly received her High School Diploma from George Washington High in Denver, CO, and participated as a class of 1978 Graduate. Of special note, Felecia was blessed with phenomenal artistic skills, which she loved to exhibit.

Felecia was quite the pretty young lady, and the fellas took note of that as three different gentlemen requested her hand in marriage.

She was fortunate to share her life with: The late William B. Reagor, II as a younger bride;

Robert Ford Sr., a bit later in her journey;

And the love of her life Sam Ervin.

She also was the proud Mother of two sons - Michael Ford who preceded her in death; and Sean Ford, her heart.

From your entrance into this world, you fought a good fight.

Your pretty innocent face was only matched by your strength, artistic ability, determination & might.

God blessed you with almost 65 years on this Earth, but saw you were tired, He knew your every hurt.

Now cherished mother, wife and daughter, our hearts break as we let you go, but our hearts celebrate that you've ascended to a pain-free Kingdom-so unimaginable than any of us know.

Felecia leaves to cherish her memory, her dad Edward Roy Blackmon, husband Sam Ervin, son Sean Ford, brothers Hysear Blackmon, Jermaine Blackmon, Darryl

Bossier, Keith Bossier and a host of other relatives and friends, including grandchildren, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and more.
