BROADNAX, Evon Glenn Was born on November 16, 1932 in Rockingham County, NC. She finished her earthly journey on December 10, 2011. She was the wife of the late Rev. John T. Broadnax, and the mother of Rev. Michael D. Broadnax, Sr. (Charlotte) and Min. Timothy M. Broadnax (Carren); grandchildren, Min. Yolanda Headen, Min. Michelle Broadnax, Min. Michael D. Broadnax II and Brandon Wade; great-grandchildren, Dorian Galbreath, Anyla Galbreath, and, the love of her life, Brooklynn Broadnax. Family visitation Thursday, December 15, 2011 from 6 p.m. - 7 p.m., Greater Bethel AME Church, 1300 South St., funeral to follow.
