Eric W. Northern, Jr.

Eric Wayne Northern Jr. was born May 25, 1982 in Davidson County, Nashville, Tennessee, to Eric and Thelma Northern. He departed this life on November 12, 2023.

Eric was educated in the Metro Nashville Public Schools district and last attended Whites Creek Comprehensive High School. Eric was a fierce protector of his sisters. He enjoyed the company of his family and friends. He

enjoyed traveling and learning new things. He was loved by tons of friends in the Trinity Hills community. Eric was a competitor and loved a wide array of sports. He was often watching a sports event or

attending a game. He also enjoyed reading and learning black history. One of his most treasured experiences was being part of Rosa Park’s Pathways to Freedom program. This was

a summer core program that traced the Underground Railroad into the Civil Rights movement and beyond. Eric mentored his nephews and spoiled his nieces. He was a man of faith and worked hard

each day to be a better man. Eric leaves to cherish his memories, his loving parents Thelma Northern and Eric Northern Sr., sisters, Carla Birts (Carl), Crystal Northern (DeMarcos Jackson), Jaylah Northern and Chastity

Northern. Nieces Caliyah Birts and Kitti Northern. Nephews Carl “CJ” Birts, Chance Birts, Cato Northern and Cruz Northern. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins and loving friends.
