Survived by children, Jerry (Oretha) Dukes, Don (Doretha) Dukes, Sr., James (Amelia) Dukes, Sr., Yolanda Dukes, Richard (Rachel) Dukes, and Tasha Dukes Saunders; brothers, James Hendre Proudy and Enos Leander (Joyce) Proudy, Jr.; foster brothers, Shedrick Hoosier, Jr. and George Thomas (Karen) Hoosier; foster sister, Sharon Faye (Sam) Poindexter; and a host of other relatives.
Public visitation on Friday, February 17, 2017, 2-7p, with family present 5-7p and fraternal memorial rites at 6p, at St. Peter AME Church, 518 Franklin St., Clarksville. Funeral on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 12noon at St. Peter AME Church. Interment at Resthaven Cemetery.
