Danny Lamarr Young

Danny Lamarr Young departed this life on Friday, April 30, 2021 in Nashville, TN. Danny was born October 6, 1962 in Nashville to he late William Alexander Young and Pauline Nelson Young. He was a graduate of Whites Creek High School and Nashville Vocational Technical College (Brick Masonry). He was a lifelong member of Lee Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Nashville, TN. He was a former member of the Voice of Deliverances choir. Danny was very creative and enjoyed drawing and writing songs.

He leaves to cherish his memories sisters, Ramona D. Young, Gloria (Jeffrey) Allen, Melanie (Calvin) Lake, Uncles, Manuel D. (Agnes) Young, Stanley Dunlap, Aunt, Linda Young, nephews and nieces; Robert Montigue, Montez Bell, and Calvin Lake III, nieces Amanda (Jose’) Risco, Yalonda Allen and Neena Lake. Devoted cousins, Dewayne Alex Patton, Jermone Patton, James Steward Nelson, Roger and Trenton Young. Devoted lifelong friend and classmate Timothy Cole. A host of other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Lee Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church, Emma Ransom Missionary Society, 15th District WMS Mission Project. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, May 30, 2021 at 2:00 p.m., with visitation beginning at 1:00p.m.
