A member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Alpha Delta Omega Chapter. She is preceded in death by parents, Seth W. Mitchell, Sr. and Louise Kennedy Mitchell; brother, Seth W. Mitchell, Jr. Survived by loving children, Reneta S. Adams, Stanley (Antoinette) Shelton, Marvin (Doris) Shelton, Charles (Andrea) Garrett, Jr.; sister-in-law, Joyce Mitchell; grandchildren, Shonte (Fekri) Hazam, Michela (Jaime) Torres I, Micheal L. Adams II, M.D., Andre and Antwan Steele, Javon Owens, Justice Shelton, Kaiya Garrett, Tamya and Stanlaya Shelton; seven great-grandchildren; aunt, Geneva Ray Chamberlain; nieces, Carolyn Mitchell, Michelle (Dennis) Jones; nephews, Michael and Larry Mitchell; cousins, many other relatives and friends.
